Profit Quickly With a Home-Based Bounce House Rental Business

The bounce house rental business is really taking off.  This is a business model that you can run right out of your house.  You can start with just one inflatable bounce house and grow from there. People will always spend money on family entertainment.  The inflatables rental business does very well because of that. This is a fast growing, and very profitable business opportunity. Renting out for birthday parties, fundraisers, and other special occasions, has become very popular over the last decade and is showing no signs of a slow down.

Saturday and Sunday are the busiest days of the week for a bounce house rental business.  Most of your orders will come on Saturday, but you can expect to also book out on Sundays.  On the average, your rental sales will be about half of what you can do on a Saturday.  This can give you a very decent part-time income.

Look to small business owners who are looking to promote their business and put some "weekday' packages together for them.  Suggest that they bring in a bounce house to promote a sale or a grand opening.  The weekday rental could be low enough to get them to agree and high enough to make you a little profit that you otherwise would not have had.  Suggest that the bounce house not be brought in until the afternoon, when the kids are out of school and keep it going until closing.  Kids will be dragging their parents to that business for certain.

The local malls are always looking for ways to promote their stores and they have budgets to do so.  Look to the events coordinator of the shopping mall nearest you and see about bring in your bounce house to coincide with the anchor store sales.

Take advantage of three-day weekends.  Not only will you have an extra day to rent, you could use a three-day weekend to promote a Buy Two Days Get the Third Day for ½ Off.   This could work out great for community fairs, a church festival or fundraiser.

Look to promote your inflatables to family reunions and company picnics.  These are events that will typically have a lot of children attending and can prove to be a pretty big market share.

Also take a look at adding other concessions to rent besides the inflatable bounce house.  Popcorn machines, balloon blowing tanks, a snow cone cart, or even a hot dog cart, all could bring in extra cash flow.

To sum it up, you will find that the money that you can make from a bounce house rental business just from the weekend rentals will give you a healthy income, but working on some creative angles could take you to the next level.
